A) Safer Internet - calls for proposals

The Commission has approved an updated Work Programme for Safer Internet for 2004. It has adopted a new call for proposals for pilot projects in the field of self-regulation and has re-opened the continuous submission scheme (hotlines and awareness).

The new deadline for both calls is 29 October 2004

B) Saferinternet.org Web site and newsletter

The saferinternet.org Web site will be renewed and the newsletter will be reappearing in the autumn under the responsibility of the co-ordinator of the new European network for raising awareness of safer use of the Internet.
