Brussels: On the Wed 19 Jan session of the EP legal affairs committee (JURI) minister Krecke of Luxembourg (Economy and Finance) said that the software patent directive is scheduled for Mon 24 Jan in the Council. In the past, after similar announcements, the scheduling of the directive had been repeatedly delayed due to political opposition.
