• 2005-01-14 US Financial Times: Nokia patent lawsuit hits US developer (Nokia trying to have a 1990s wireless protocol patent of Interdigital ruled inapplicable, potentially relevant to 3G - Ericsson caved in)

• 2003-02-19 Ericsson paid 50 mn USD to Interdigital, right in time for our criticism of the McCarthy report to JURI.

• Not to be confused with Intergraph, another company with a similar business model.
• The patents are mainly parts of wireless telecom protocols, and thus probably not for "computer-implemented" solutions (software).
