Existing Samples
These samples have no reference to the appendixes, you also need to change/remove the date and add either a personal cover letter or just "Dear <Recipient>, ..."

- Not every signator needs to be represented on paper with a logo. No need for masses of penguins.
The Joint Patent Industry Statement of 2003-04 might serve as a model or as something to parody.
find company logos at genba.ffii.org in var/www/img/logos or collect them here after picking them from the company's website
Appendices
- separate document and each appendix separately: allow people to send with additional appendices
- complete the appendices
Translation
translate source text according to instructions, but send to mail processor mlhtimport at a2e de (mlhtimport at ffii org doesn't work reliably at the moment).
In addition also create the sxw/pdf files (or files using other text processing systems at which you are good, resulting in PDF). See "Typesetting the Text with logos nicely" above.
Signature Collection
collect signatures of big players and politicians (e.g. those from Calls for Action 1 & 2) and submit to cpedu-help at ffii org
Did a not-good-enough draft for a mail to german companies who signed !CfA I/II, but will not be able to incorporate changes till Sun, 2004-06-20. Told jmaebe about it, he might want to do an english version. ccorn already prepared a list of recipients. (schinski)
