Report commissioned by Dutch Ministry of Ecnomic Affairs ("Economische Zaken"), presented in January 2000.
The author Verkade was professor of intellectual property law in general, not specially patent law.
The book's main thrust is that extension of patentability to software is very dangerous and the power copyright in the software business should not be underestimated.
